The Volt is a lush and harmonic, amp-like overdrive, providing a very transparent and open sound. Drive level ranges from a clean boost, to subtle crunch, and all the way to thick and saturated overdrive reminiscent of a cranked 5E3. Hit it with single coils and they shine while retaining low end. Hit it hard with humbuckers and at the top of its range it will provide a tube "sag" sound.
